The calm.
My passion lies in optimising health and performance. I believe that this has to come from several key areas. If you eat well, sleep well, breathe well, move well and think well, then everything starts to fall into place and you'll feel amazing! I practice what I preach so can hopefully apply some previous experience to anything I am teaching clients. I am known as a fairly quiet, stoic kind of guy but I'll quite happily chew your ear off about anything to do with holistic health.
My background is in tennis coaching which taught me a few things; how to effectively teach, how to look at movement in detail and how to keep 30 kids entertained for an hour!
These days I'm enjoying regular Jiu Jitsu training, gym based functional strengthening work and getting outdoors as much as I possibly can. Give me the dog and a beach and I'm a happy man!

The chaos.
I am passionate about education and empowering people to have all the tools they need to manage their health and wellness. I value all components of health and understanding how they are all intertwined. I enjoy helping people explore all the aspects of their experience pulling from interests in human behaviour and psychology, as well as tissue responses, physiology and neurobiology.
The nervous system is a powerful thing, understand it and look after it well.
As for exercise, coming from a background of gymnastics I focus on quality movement and breaking down the components of an action. I focus my training style around control and strength, admittedly not very good at the cardio! I like to modify and expand on traditional strengthening exercise and continue to explore and integrate other training such as yoga and movement flows.
Health, for me, is an action, a practice that we should continually engage in and continue to improve on. For me it is no longer a measure, it is a way of life (with the odd slip up!).
If you enjoy the odd 'dad joke' and long drawn out conversations where you get lost to what the point was, book with me now!
